BECKY LAW
HEAD OF MIDDLES & JUNIORS
Becky joined Great Walstead in 2017, bringing years of experience leading Key Stage 2 and shaping creative, child-centred learning environments. As Head of Middles & Juniors, she champions wellbeing, belonging and the wonderful power of a school community that supports, lifts and celebrates every child.
Pastoral care at the heart
Becky believes that emotional safety and trust sit at the centre of strong learning. She loves seeing friendships blossom, worries eased and smiling faces fill the school. Her goal is always to ensure every child feels known, supported and ready to try new challenges with confidence.
Life beyond the classroom
Outside school, Becky can usually be found cheering on her children from the sidelines of a sports pitch, exploring the countryside or curled up with a book. She is also a runner, an American drama fan and occasional keeper of classroom stick insects, much to pupils' delight.
Curiosity, courage and care
Becky loves watching pupils laugh, learn and share their achievements. Her advice for new starters is simple: embrace everything, ask questions and know that you are supported every step of the way.
