Toddler Club

16th October 10-11am

We’re embracing the Autumnal vibes in this session of Toddler Club. With the help of our friends from the Outdoors Project, we’ll head to the Great Walstead woods, finding inspiration amongst the trees as we forage for natural materials with which to create a variety of woodland creatures.

Toddler Club will run 10-11am with a 30 min Outdoors Project session during this time.

6th November 10-11am

Led by Mrs Leigh-Hill, Sing and Sign combines the nursery rhymes you know and love with sign language dance moves. This is a fun and engaging session that promises music, melodies and memories.

13th November 10-11am

Step into a world of make-believe with for a fairytale-themed session. Little one can enjoy a shared story brought to life by Miss Folkard and Miss Rio, and are invited to come dressed as their favourite fairytale character (or in any costume that makes them smile). Costumes are welcome but not necessary, and face paints will also be available.

20th November 10-11am

For children from 18 months to 4 years.

A playful and engaging morning of role play, stories, and sport. Tiny Tekkers create an environment where toddlers and pre-schoolers can unlock their potential, developing agility, coordination, and balance in a fun and inclusive setting. Toddler Club will run 10-11am with a 30 min sports session during this time.

27th November 10-11am

Get that festive feeling with the final toddler club of the year! We’ll be joined by Mrs Blacker and Mrs Calthrop for Christmas crafts, and another special guest too, this one dressed in red and bearing special gifts for our toddlers! With warming mince pies for parents and cheery Christmas music, everyone is sure to have a very merry time.

Welcoming back our toddlers old and introducing toddlers new, this session will be the perfect chance to catch up, get to know newcomers and get a feel for the fun ahead.

25th September 10-11am

Don your aprons, get your wooden spoons ready; in this session of Toddler Club, we’re all Star Bakers!

Get stuck in with Mrs Lindfield as she gives our toddlers a baking masterclass in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, making a delicious treat to take home with you (if you can resist it that long).

Coffee and cakes will also be available for parents. While all our toddler club sessions are free, donations are welcome for this extra special session, with all proceeds going straight to this wonderful charity.

2nd October 10-11am

Join us for farm-themed fun as we celebrate the Harvest Festival. Little ones can enjoy leaf printing and apple painting with activities led by Mrs Speight.

Toddlers are invited to come dressed as their favourite farm animal or object – could be a scarecrow, a pony, a farmer or even a combine harvester… the choice is yours (and entirely optional)!

9th October 10-11am

Mud Pi Morning offers a hands-on introduction to Reception at Great Walstead, where learning comes to life through play, exploration and expert guidance.

Children will enjoy a range of Mud Pi activities, including mud kitchen play, nature crafts, seed planting, and stories and songs, while parents can meet our Reception teachers, see our learning approach in action, and connect with other Walstead families.
