Great Walstead is an independent prep school for girls and boys from Nursery to Year 8 set in more than 250 acres of wonderful Sussex countryside in the village of Lindfield, neighbouring Haywards Heath. We pride ourselves on our wonderful caring, Christian family atmosphere which does so much to bring out the best in our pupils.
Indeed a recent OFSTED Inspection declared our children’s enjoyment, achieving and contribution to be Outstanding. It is good to have official recognition of what we know to be true. Visiting parents frequently comment on the energy and enthusiasm of our pupils and staff as they tour classrooms and see activities in action. All this is underpinned by our superb facilities and distinctive Christian ethos, both of which help us achieve excellence in so many areas. But don’t take it from me, come and see for yourselves.
