Wednesday activities

Those children from Year 3 upwards who are not involved in sports fixtures on Wednesday afternoons have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of activities:

The Juniors go together to the school’s woodland for walks, exploration, games, miniature camp building and as many other enjoyable activities limited only by the children and teachers’ imaginations!

The children in our Middle and Senior school are provided with a menu of activities from which they choose two. This element of choice and organisation of their own timetable is valuable for the children in itself but so too is the opportunity to sample lots of different activities including staples such as: cookery, pottery, art, ICT and helping with younger children to more exotic and periodic offerings such as archery or camera club.
