Great Walstead School is two miles East of Haywards Heath -midway between Gatwick Airport and Brighton, and approximately 3 miles from Haywards Heath railway station

By car from West, East or South, take the A272 as far as Bedales Corner (between Scaynes Hill and Haywards Heath) and turn off on the B2111 in the direction of Lindfield. After about half a mile turn right and then join East Mascalls Lane. The school is on your right a short way down this road.

If you are approaching from the North through Lindfield, take the left turn (B2111) at the Post Office just before the pond and proceed to the far side of the hamlet of Walstead – about 1 mile out of Lindfield - then follow the signpost to the school - left down East Mascalls Lane. The school is on your right a short way down this road.
