Learning to live together, showing respect and caring for each other is vitally important in our boarding family. The first line of the Great Walstead Code of Conduct is “Great Walstead is a school where we seek to behave in the way Jesus did, the way he spoke and acted towards others”. There are many opportunities to take part in activities and to have great fun. Our aim is for boarders to relax, have a great time with their friends, make new friends and be very happy during their stay in the boarding house. Remember, this web page can only give an outline - a tour around the buildings, a chat with staff and children will help to complete the picture."

And here's what some boarders have said: "I really like boarding because you are with your friends and the house has a really homely atmosphere.” "I like boarding because it feels like we are one big family, plus the food is great!” “I love boarding because it’s like a second home.” “I like boarding because we get to watch cool films at flat night.” |
